What a fishing trip I had on 10/17/2007! I caught 6 Dorado 1 huge Roster Fish and had a Sailfish hooked for over an hour. Thanks to Nacho and his brother I had a great time aboard the La Bamba and would recommend a trip with Nacho.

Dear Alejandro Vega
WOW! What a fantastic double trip.
While on board 28' Panga "Pcositas" I caught 5 dorado, 1 red snapper, 2 jack Crevalle, possibly a wahoo (only head of mackeral left), hooked 1 sailfish but lost it at the boat (about 8-9 feet long). plenty of porpoise and sea turtles were spotted.
This was better than expected and every minute was a riot. I bow my hat to Cap'n Hector and first mates Alejandro "El Flaco" and Victor. From the time we left port to when we first hooked into the Cravelle (with in the first 30 minutes), to running out far for the Snapper, Dorado and finally the bill
fish, all was professionally done. I'm glad to know that "El Flaco" could take the teasing as well as dish out his own! You guys are okay-dokey in my book. I will try very hard to get back down in November for the tournament so keep a spot open for me Hector. Next time, we WILL get to the cantinas afterward!!  Again, I could not have been treated any better or had any more fun than with these guys. They are the best!!
Thanks guys Muchas Gracias por todo!

It started when I first made contact with their representative. He was very responsive to questions and provided prompt and thorough responses. When we got to the boat, Francisco's years of experience as a Captain and Gabriel's expertise as a crewman had us landing fish 20 minutes out of the marina. A very service focused team dedicated to our success and pleasure for my 78 year old father and myself. It was the perfect fishing experience. The boat was in great condition. They listened to and exceeded our expectations. We highly reccomend them. You won't find a better run organization.

I am telling you not to look anywhere else. These are the guys to book!!! They are the locals that have been fishing the area for over 40 years and they know everything there is to know. They point to the fish and then you catch them. It was that easy. One fish after another. I fish the Hudson Canon in New York and never saw so many fish that these guys hooked us up on. I can't emphasize enough that these are the guys to book!!!! It was so much fun that we booked a second trip only to catch them all over again. What an adrenaline rush!!

Thanks for the excellent trip.

. Had a blast with the captain and crew. At one time we had 2 Dorados and 1 Bonita on. I was telling Francisco to reel one in but he insisted that I do it. I was absolutely exhausted but what a great time. Thanks Alex

We booked a 10 hour trip and left exactly on time.  The boat was spotless and was a very comfortable ride at plus 20 knots and four foot seas. Once we started fishing the captain and mate worked very hard for over an hour trying several different presentations before finding a livebait technique that started hooking fish.  Once we started fighting fish it was very apparent that we had expert guides and top of the line equipment.  Within 3 hours we had two sailfish, 112" and 97", and a 102" marlin.  With our arms and backs cramping from fighting these monsters we had to beg to head back to the marina.  Our crew wanted to stay out and fish some more.  The chop picked up in the afternoon and our captain was considerate enough to keep the ride home just slow enough to protect our landlubber stomachs from the rough seas.  When we docked at the marina, the crew took the time to hoist the fish onto the flying bridge for pictures. They then took pictures of my wife and myself with the fish.  They were great photographers on top of everything else.  I was completely amazed.  There was not one thing about the entire trip that disapointed me.  I am usually hard to please but everything met or exceeded my expectations.  The crew got the largest tip I have ever given to anyone.  It was the fishing experience of a lifetime.  Thanks guys!!!

Had a great time fishing, the captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and the fishing was tremendous!

In a 8 hour trip we had 7 sailfish hook-ups and landed 2 ( 100lbs & 125lbs).  I would highly recommend booking a trip through PV fishing, very easy to deal with and we were 100 % satisfied.

Dear Alex,

We  had a fabulous day fishing  with Raul and Manuel, Their concern for the cleanliness and care for the boat was outstanding. Not to mention the condition of the boat prior to us seeing it that morning. They were right on time in the dock area to pick us up and ready to go. They were very concerned when we were catching our monster tuna that we always had something on us to protect us from scraping and bruising. They were very knowledgeable of the area to fish and we were asked what kind of fish we wanted to go after before we left the dock. We would highly recomend this crew to future fishermen and especially for us the next time we are in Puerta Vallarta. We would really like to see our catch on your website

Thanks again for our day and professionalism of your crew

Paul and Lisa Sarraf.

Comments: Dear Alex, Just a short note to let you know how happy I am with Cap'n Hector & his mate Monica. My whole deep sea fishing experience was GREAT! My goal was to catch a sail fish and as you can see from the picture my goal was accomplished & then some. This sail fish & 2 Mahi Mahi were caught on my trip but I only got the sail fish mounted. I was down there for the Crown Jewel Softball Tournament but before that started I went out fishing with Cap'n Hector. I recommended him to a couple of my buddies & they had a good trip also. I would highly recommend PVfishing & Cap'n Hector to any one who wants a good deep sea fishing experience. Once again Muchas Gracias por todo! Kiko Gutierrez

Comments: My cousin and I had a great time. The bay is beautiful especially in the morning. We got to see dolphins. Hector is a very skilled and knowledgeable captain, yet he is light hearted and made us feel like we had known him and Monica for years. When we could hear other captains on the radio giving up on the schools of Tunas he and his deck hand were hooking tunas and letting me and my cousin reel them in. I was allowed the pleasure of reeling in a 10' Blue Marlin. This was my first bill fish and my largest fish caught by 6'. All in all I had a blast. Thanks Alex for making this trip possible

Comments: We had a wonderfull time last thursday. The captain and crew did a wonderfull job. At the end of the trip we could easily see we had done far better than the other boats that came in at the same time. I highly recomend booking your fishing through Alejandro and avoiding getting cheaper trips directly at the marina with less experienced crews on beat up boats. Other people will tell you they can offer the same boat, do ask for the name of the boat, because going out in the same model/make doesn´t mean it actually is the same boat or getting the same results. I would also like to point out the quality of the equipment (all reels were Penn and so were most reels). Gracias Alejandro...

Comments: Hi, Alex. The day of fishing in the bay was wonderful. The crew was terrific and worked hard to find fish. We started out at 9am instead of 8am like some other boats. We saw those boats ahead of us. Nothing was biting and there was no action in the water for the first 2 hours. The other boats headed North - our crew said the birds were flying to the South (toward Yelapa). We went that way and soon found a school of yellowtail. We caught 3 in the next 45 minutes. They weighed 30-40 pounds, but fought like a fish at least twice that size. We then moved on and found another school where we brought 2 more to the boat. Then on the way back in (we only went out for 5 hours) we hooked another - the biggest and hardest fighter of the day. The crew fileted one of the fish, and we took it back to our hotel. The chef grilled it perfectly, and we had a great dinner (as did others sitting around us...hey, it was a big fish). Our 2 boys (ages 5 and 8) had a blast. It was their first time catching fish on the ocean. In addition to the great fishing, we had the bonus of spotting about 20 giant manta rays - they were all over the bay. The boys are very anxious to know when we are going back to fish again. Thanks for setting up a great day for our family.

Comments: It was a great day as is any day on the water. We caught many bonita, several yellow fin tuna, and the spanish mackeral was about as big as they get. At one point there were three lines(maybe more but I cant remember for sure) with fish on for the two of us to bring in. Oh what a good time. The Vanessa IV crew was great and we enjoyed some of the best fish I have had prepared for us on the way back to the marina. Good captain crew fishing food. I could not ask for more. Very satisfied with our experience and working with Puerto Vallarta Fishing Expeditions. We know exactly who to call the next time there.

Caught: 8 hour sailing trip for whale watching and snorkeling
Comments: Our group of 17 had a wonderful time! Alex found the perfect boat to accommodate all of the ages (14 months to 78 years). The crew was great, sailed to islands in the bay for some snorkeling. We watched a family of humpback whales swim around us for nearly an hour. Saw dolphins, sea turtles and mantarays. The lunch on the boat was great, with snacks, beers and sodas. It was a perfect all-day trip. Alex even arranged for our transportation from our home to the marina and escorted our family there to make sure everything went smooth. A great trip with excellent, friendly service - we'll for sure do this again next time in PV!
