There are 3 main areas where we can take you fishing: El Morro (range 28 miles). An undersea rock pinnacle that stretches above the water surface some 26 nautical miles from Puerto Vallarta, El Morro is the most popular place to fish for large billfish, dorado, yellow-fin tuna and others because it's the closest of our three options. "The closest?" You may ask. Well, remember Bahía de Banderas is the largest bay in Mexico, and we need to go well outside of the bay to catch the big ones. La Corbeteña (range 36 miles). This beautiful rock is our next option and increases your chance of landing the big one. You do have to invest a bit more of time and money since we'll take you 36 miles outside de Bay. El Banco (range 48 miles). Our prime fishing spot for those true fishermen and fisherwomen who will not settle for anything but the best fishing grounds. Although we can't guarantee that you'll catch a large billfish, we will say that it would be uncommon if you don't land at least a good size sailfish. |
